I see socialists

Except for being a hardcore capitalist, Obama is totally a socialist.

I know this because he wants people to have health insurance and because he is telling school children to do good in school (commie bastard!).

Also, he spends way too much money.

From the Congressional Budget Office:

Budget deficits in billions
2001 -32.4
2002 -317.4
2003 -538.4
2004 -568.0
2005 -493.6
2006 -434.5
2007 -342.2
2008 -459

Which means Bush was a socialist President as well. Or is wasting money only bad when it's being wasted on things like education, health care, attempts at recovering from a Bush economic disaster, and other such?

Buy Goldman Sachs At Any Price!!!!!!

The all knowing wise Libertarian tools on CNBC remind me on a continuing video loop to buy Goldman Sachs stock at any price. $165? BUY! $300? BUY! One hundred million billion kajillion dollars? BUY!!

Freddie Mac? Trash. The wise Libertarian tools on CNBC hate Freddie Mac at any price. $1? SELL! $.50? SELL!! A negative $3 such that someone will give me $3 to take it? SELL!!!!

Now, no doubt Freddie Mac has had a hard time the last couple of years. And no doubt they have kept their doors open only due to the Treasury Department and US Taxpayers. But, something the wise Libertarian tools on CNBC (who hate GSE's by the way) have not considered is that if not for Freddie Mac, potentially dozens (hundreds?) of additional institutions would have been holding all those bad mortgage securities and would have failed in 2009 (or been bailed out on a case by case basis, saving some and losing others).

Essentially, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae acted as buffers in this last economic crisis. It would have been much worse without them.

Of course, you might ask what the hell do I know? Admittedly, not a lot. But my guess is at least as good as those made by the Libertarian tools on CNBC. Which isn't saying much, but at least I admit that I'm guessing.

AT&T, full of crap

Why would AT&T sell someone a Blackberry phone, like the BlackBerry Curve 8900, that has WiFi, and then not allow the customer to use the WiFi unless they purchase a ‘data rate plan’? If the traffic is not going over their network, what possible right does AT&T have to charge for it?

Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g for additional in-building coverage at work, public hotspots, or home (requires BlackBerry data rate plan)

Don't look hard on this page. You won't find the small print here. You have to login first.

It would be like the power company billing someone for using batteries. Sure, the power company provides power, but I doubt they expect to be paid for batteries purchased from a third party.

I’m eligible for an ‘upgrade’ (oh lucky me!), but instead I’m going to wait a few more months and dump AT&T altogether.

Michael Jackson still dead!

This breaking news just in: Michael Jackson is still dead!

The worst part of Michael Jackson dying, no disrespect to MJ, is the fact CNN has decided to dedicated 2 channels to exclusively covering this one story for the last week, proving once more that Cable News has deteriorated into nothing more than pure tabloid nonsense.

10. Wolf Blitzer's beard

Wolf Blitzer's beard is the secret to his super average intelligence.

Without his beard, his knowledge and intelligence jumps to that of the typical 8th grader, way above what is marketable for cable news.

Swine Flu!

The Swine Flu is going to get us! Oh noez the Swine Flu is pandemic and going to get us all!

CNN, please talk more about the Swine Flu! I'm so scared!

...

Well. That sure was a short buzz for something that was likely to kill us all.

Maybe the Swine Flu caught the Bird Flu and died.
